Both iron and folic acid can cure anemia. Iron is required to make red blood cell, but folate helps vitamin B12 form red blood cells. To prevent anemia, it is essential to ensure that you consume enough iron and folate in your diet. Anemia, if left unchecked can lead to a variety of health problems, some of them quite harmful.
