Distracting the Man
Mike and Jeff emerged out of the darkness as soon as the sound of footsteps was heard. Jeff opened the heavy door to enter the building. Just as Mike was about follow suit, the other men came up from the basement. Mike was at a complete loss as to what to do and froze.

He was able, in the end to hide himself behind something just before the soldiers returned. Dereck replied, “I thought I had the intruders, Dereck.” One of the men then said, “I really believed I had them.” Dereck’s response was, “I told to you to stay with her inside the room, you idiot.”
