Jeff was about to speak, but Jeff stopped him by placing his finger on his mouth and throwing a rock up the stairs. The ship was awash with a loud bang.

Mike opened his eyes in surprise as Jeff retreated quickly into the shadows. The man who was left behind in that room ran out of the door, heading towards the stairs. He yelled “Dereck!” in anger. I have them! Jeff and Mike waited for the sound of the man’s footfall to stop while he was running up the staircase.
