A Strange Discovery
Jeff and Mike discovered a small, locked safe in the captain’s quarters. The safe was locked when they tried to open. They cracked the code after a few tries. The contents of the safe were more shocking than anything else they had seen.

It was empty. It was a lot of work to crack this safe. What a waste! It was damaged. It was not only damaged by water, but also physically smashed in. Evidently, someone had tried to get in without success. A hammer was on the floor. Jeff was worried.
