9. Dairy Products
Avoid foods that contain milk and/or cream, such as shakes, cheeses, ice-creams, etc. Avoiding dairy products is also a good idea. Lactose is found in dairy products. It is made from glucose and galactose. A dairy or lactose tolerance is a condition where the small intestine doesn’t produce enough lactase to break down lactose.
Lactose intolerance can cause abdominal problems such as bloating, gas or diarrhea. Gastritis is caused by lactose intolerance. Around 30 million people suffer from lactose insensitivity. It’s best to avoid foods that cause gastritis during treatment.
You can replace dairy products like yogurt, kimchi etc. with products that contain probiotics. Maintaining your stomach will help you recover from gastritis. If you have gastritis, you may want to eliminate milk from your daily diet. It can cause an ulcer.
