Twelve Foods You Should Avoid When Eating for Gastritis

3. Fried Foods

It is not necessary that every time you eat fried foods, it leads to gastritis. However, if you have been diagnosed with gastritis and eat excess oil in your food, this can be harmful. Foods with excessive oil are harmful to those with Gastritis.

Fried foods can cause inflammation of the stomach. Fried foods contain oil vapors that can also cause respiratory problems, especially for asthmatics. They can also cause chest pain. Excess oil can increase heart rate, and therefore increase risk of heart attack.

Oily foods should not be consumed on a diet for gastritis because they are often cooked at high temperature and are frequently reheated with oil at fast food outlets. Hydrocarbon chains are broken down in the chemical reaction. This chemical reaction can lead to cancer. Fried foods contain excess oil, which should not be consumed in large quantities. People who have had their gallbladder removed should avoid eating foods that are oily.
