6. Reduced Immunity
Lower immune system symptoms are common with tuberculosis. This is especially true if you experience fever, night sweats, flu-like symptoms, or a persistent cough lasting at least three weeks.
Some chronic conditions can affect your immune function. Other environmental factors, such as your diet, could also be affecting your immune system.All of this (and “lower immunity” itself), means you’re more likely to be sick with regular conditions such as colds and flu and that you will stay sick longer.
Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms are combined with illnesses or infections you may have had in the last few months. This could be a serious immune-related condition that makes TB more likely and easier to contract.
