13. Other extended symptoms
The signs and symptoms listed here can be indicators of serious infections that can cause serious damage to your immunity as well as your overall health. If you have more than two or three of these symptoms and don’t think that they indicate tuberculosis, but suspect it could be something else instead, consult your doctor.
The majority of symptoms have a root or condition that can be managed or treated.You should see your doctor if you have any of these symptoms in conjunction with a persistent cough or exposure to a place where TB is diagnosed.There are other symptoms that may appear in both TB and general infection. It is up to the patient to notify their doctor if they notice them, or it could be the doctor’s job to detect these symptoms.
