Ten Homemade Methods for Effective Mold Removal

4. Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen Peroxide can be used to kill bacteria. Most people have it in their home in their first-aid kit. It can be used to clean out cuts and wounds. Hydrogen peroxide can also be used to remove mold that might appear in your home. To remove mold, you should purchase hydrogen peroxide at a 3 percent concentration. Spray the hydrogen peroxide on the moldy surfaces.

Wait about 10 minutes, then scrub the area. You will want to use a damp cloth to wipe away any mold spores that remain after you scrub the area. Store the peroxide away from light as it will lose its potency. You can use vinegar and hydrogen peroxide together to remove mold.
