6. Vitamin D Natural Source
It is difficult to find vitamin D within our foods. The sun is the only way to get this vital vitamin. To receive enough vitamin D, we need to expose the upper part of our body to sunlight for at least 15 minutes. This isn’t possible for most people who live in climates that don’t get much sunlight in winter.
Exogenous supplements are the only way to get vitamin D. The body does not readily absorb the synthetic versions of this nutrient. To get enough, we need to take five to six times the daily recommended value.
