14. Rash Alone
Impetigo can cause a wide range of symptoms. However, sometimes it is just a simple scar. It is impetigo if you see lots of tiny marks on your child’s skin. This is especially true if the small marks turn into blisters, and then crust, or appear around diapers. Even if there is no change in temperature, or any other symptoms, impetigo can still occur.
You should also look out for the spread of infection. The rash may spread if the patient touches the sore, and then touches a different part of their body. This can be true for a variety of different types rash.
The most difficult part is determining whether an impetigo rash is the same as other rashes. Different rashes respond differently to treatment. Some are better treated with antibiotics, while others should be left alone. It is important to consult your doctor as quickly as possible. Don’t wait to see your doctor if you notice a rash. It could be an indication of something much more serious.
