7. Light-colored Bowel Movements
Although we tend to associate the liver with the urine, the liver also plays a role in helping your body eliminate toxinsvia stools and bowel movements. If you notice a lighter color in your stool or if it looks different, you may want to take this into consideration.
This light-colored feces is due to the liver releasing “bilesalts” into the stool. The liver produces bile to help break down the salts. The liver can stop producing them, and they will then end up in your stool. This is why you see the light color.
