6.Yellow eyes
Jaundice can also be caused by damage to the liver. Yellow eyes are a sign. The liver isn’t working properly and large amounts of waste chemicals and toxins have been allowed to accumulate in the blood. They then circulate the blood near the skin and make it yellow.
It can be even more obvious behind the eyes due to their transparency. The tiny blood vessels may have a yellow tint, giving the appearance of yellow eyes.
You should be aware that jaundice can also be caused by liver disease, gallstones or tumors.
Bilirubin is the yellowish buildup of toxic substances.
