Dog owners are used to taking their dogs for walks, but this dog dad found something completely unexpected. One man noticed wads floating in the Spalding river in the U.K., in November 2013.
He then called the authorities who then recovered the money from Spalding. The total amount found was $100,000. Lincolnshire Police reported that some of the cash was water damaged, but most of it was in good condition. They then performed a forensic analysis to determine the source of the money and who it belongs to.
30. La Paz County Sheriff Find Underwater Skeleton Tea Party
Location: Colorado River, La Paz, Arizona
2015 Year Discovered
Est. Value: $50*
When the Buckskin Fire Department of Arizona received a report about possible human remains floating in the Colorado River, the La Paz County sheriff deputies in Arizona teamed up. A diver with a camera went down to inspect and found two skeletons enjoying a tea party.
Thankfully, the skeletons weren’t real. They were seated in lawn chairs, upright. One wore aviators, a bib and even aviators. One of them held a sign with the words “Dream in the River”, and the date August 16, 2014. Was this a piece of art? Was this a Halloween decoration? What kind of shrine? We may never find out.
