5. The Eyes: Pressure
Glaucoma is one of the more common causes of pressure behind the eye. This condition can be treated with medication and/or surgery. However, another cause of pressure behind the eye can be much more serious. It could be caused by a spike in blood pressure.
Blockages can occur in different parts of the body and can sometimes increase the pressure the body is under. This can lead to increased pressure on the eyes, which is a warning sign that a stroke may be imminent.
