Lucy’s secretive actions continued for nearly a year until tragedy struck the family. Lucy was an older dog when she arrived and her time had passed.
Lucy died at the age of 11, which is a very respectable age. Tom’s parents were saddened by the news, but Tom was particularly affected. He was definitely changed by the experience.
