13. STDs Untreated
Sexually transmitted infections that are not treated can cause further sexual problems and can increase the risk of infection, such as urinary tract infections or bladder infections. They can even spread to other parts of the body like the kidneys and can lead repeatedly to bacterial vaginosis.
Stop having sex if you think you may have a sexually transmitted disease. Get yourself tested and find out if you have it. Doing otherwise can be dangerous, affect your health negatively, and give the infection a chance to spread to your sexual partners.
Do not leave any STD untreated or to chance. You might not be aware that you have BV until you get the right tests. Some sexually transmitted diseases can mimic the symptoms.
