9. Previous Bacterial Vaginosis
You are more likely to contract conditions such as a bacterial infection or a vaginosis if you’ve had a bacterial vaginosis within the last three to six month.
The infection can return even if it was treated properly. This could be due to other factors, such as an allergy to washing powder, underwear, or excessive cleaning.
Start looking for possible risk factors to determine the cause of a recurring bacterial vaginosis. If changing these risk factors does not make a difference, you may need to consult your doctor.
