Spinal twist with lying back
Steps:
- Lay on your back with arms perpendicularly parallel to the head.
- With your left hand, raise your right foot and pull it over your left leg to the left.
- Slowly turn your head towards the right.
- Hold this position 30 seconds.
- Slowly return to your original position. Repeat the process on the opposite side.
- Repeat this exercise two times.
What is the benefit? It helps to release tension from the lower back, and it strengthens the shoulders. It also lengthens the muscles that support the lower back.
