Oprah knows how to live lavishly. This is after all the woman who’s reportedly owned Promised Land for over $100 million. It’s surprising that she bought a house for only $298,000. This was in 2001. She hadn’t yet built her empire up to its current level.
It’s interesting to note that this 2,255 square foot house was never actually occupied by her. Oprah’s purchase of the four-bedroom house with two-and a-half-bathrooms is not clear. Was the brick colonial house she bought for someone special? We don’t know for sure, but it’s possible.
