Breaux’s 11-container house is, as far as he knows, the largest structure of its type. Before, people have converted storage units into living quarters but never on this grand a scale. A single storage container can be purchased for just a few thousand dollars. This allows you to build a home for very little money if there is a suitable place.
Breaux was able to save money even though his expenses were higher because he bought 11 containers. Many people have lived in storage containers, but never 11 at once. Breaux’s house would never be on a ship for cargo again, after it was firmly planted in the Texas soil.
