Some people may find it difficult to consume the daily recommended amount of folic acids. Some people may find it difficult to consume foods rich in folic acid. Consider adding tomato juice to meals if you have trouble eating foods rich in folate. You can replace orange-flavored juice in your morning breakfast with tomato juice. Six-ounces of tomato juice contain 36 mcg folic acid.
It is approximately nine percent of your daily recommended value. You can spice up tomato juice by adding some Tabasco sauce, or pepper if you don’t like the taste of plain tomato juice. Add some chili powder for a little flavor. It will give you more folic acids as a teaspoon has 2 mcg.
