If you do develop trich symptoms, they are likely to manifest within the first month after contracting the parasite. Both men and women can exhibit symptoms of trich. Vaginitis is the most frequent manifestation of trich symptoms in females. A woman infected with the trich parasite may experience a foul-smelling, frothing, yellow or gray discharge.
Even blood may be present in the discharge. Typically, the vaginal and surrounding areas become red and irritated. Your genitalia may swell and you may experience discomfort during sexual activity. Men with trich may experience penile and ball enlargement, itching, redness, and general discomfort in the genital region. If you experience any of these symptoms, you should see a doctor for a thorough diagnosis. Your physician will be able to diagnose the issue and initiate the appropriate treatment plan.
