- Adherence to the Treatment Plan
As previously stated, trich is very simple to treat. However, if you do not follow your doctor’s instructions, you may not be able to eliminate it or you may contract it again. If you or your companion have been diagnosed with trich, it is imperative that you both take the prescribed medication. Ensure that you consume the medication precisely as directed.
Additionally, you should begin taking them as soon as feasible. Typically, you will be prescribed four 500 mg metronidazole tablets. With a full glass of water, you will consume all of the pills at once. Avoid consuming alcohol for a minimum of 24 hours after taking the medication, or you may become extremely ill. Anti-acids should not be taken an hour before or two hours after consuming the pills. If you adhere to the instructions provided, the trich symptoms should disappear within a week.
