- Scoliosis
Kyphosis is a curvature of the spine at the top, between the cervical and thoracic regions. A damaged rotator cuff may exacerbate the condition, and it may also increase the likelihood of further rotator cuff injury.
When the anterior deltoids and pectoral muscles are contracted and contracted, kyphosis is the result. It can also be caused by a general lack of muscle tone and weakness in the rotator cuffs and other back-based tugging muscles. A common cause is desk work, which causes the arms to be dragged forward while typing. In addition, chest and other “mirror muscles” training can exacerbate this condition.
It is essential to gradually strengthen muscles and know when to rest. If you have been previously diagnosed with kyphosis and are experiencing shoulder discomfort, you may have torn your rotator cuff.
