Pain around the joints is a prevalent symptom of tendonitis and one of the first to be noticed. It is essential to remember that joint pain alone does not necessarily indicate tendonitis.
You may have recently strained something while exercising or working, and a brief period of rest will remedy the situation. If the pain persists, it is possible that the tendon has been damaged by something more serious than a simple muscle strain.
Because joints are where we bend, they are more prone to tendon injury than other parts of the body. If you have participated in activities that are common tendonitis triggers, such as baseball, tennis, or house painting, there is reason to suspect that your joint discomfort is due to tendonitis.
