- Muscular Instability
When one group of muscles becomes more developed than the other, muscular imbalance occurs. If you have been diagnosed with chronic tendonitis and it has affected you for an extended period of time, you may observe that the muscle tone on one side of your body becomes more developed than the other side. If you have tendonitis in your left knee joint, for instance, your right leg may develop more than your left.
This is the result of using your left knee less frequently due to discomfort. When suffering from tendonitis, you will essentially avoid activities that cause discomfort. This may cause one area of the body to become more fit than another. One method to avoid this is to ensure that the damaged tendon is regularly exercised and that each side of the body is utilized as equally as possible.
