Wild oregano-derived oregano oil may inhibit or at least delay the growth of yeast. Numerous varieties of oregano oil are derived from common oregano, which has no special properties. Wild oregano-derived oregano oil contains two potent antifungals. This consists of carvacrol and thymol. This variety of oregano oil can inhibit or stop the growth of the Candida Albicans yeast.
