10.Maintain Your Balance After Eating
There is not always a severe or medical cause for nausea. It can sometimes be caused by something as simple as your posture, seated position, or sleeping position. After a meal, some people like to lie down and take a siesta. This may seem like a good method to allow your food to digest and rest, but it can actually cause nausea and stomach upset.
When lying down, the stomach acids that break down food can migrate backward. This may result in severe nausea and abdominal discomfort. Some individuals even feel a burning sensation in their intestines and throats.
Try standing while you consume or immediately following your meal. If you are unable to stand, consider sitting with better posture and straighter back. Even if they have already begun to feel nauseous, some people can find relief by standing up and moving around after consuming.
