As a poison, alcohol is difficult to digest and can damage the liver and stomach lining. Individuals with a painful stomach should desist from smoking and consuming alcohol until they feel significantly better. A frequent smoker or heavy drinker may continue smoking and drinking with moderation.
Even a single glass of alcohol or cigarette per day will cause stomach symptoms. Initially, it may be challenging, particularly if you have been smoking and imbibing for years. You will experience adverse effects, but they will be worthwhile if you want relief from stomach pain. It may be prudent to quit imbibing and smoking permanently.
