6 (The Appropriate) Fruit Juice
Hydration is one of the most important things you can do if your body has recently been exposed to illness or if you are currently battling the symptoms of a condition or illness – particularly gastroenteritis, which can dehydrate the body faster than it can normally be replenished.
One of the most important things to remember while experiencing the symptoms of gastroenteritis is hydration. However, hydration does not have to be limited to water, and in fact, it shouldn’t be.
Your body can benefit from numerous varieties of fruit juice, including apple juice, for its mineral and vitamin content as well as its added boost and hydration properties. Choose neutral beverages and avoid those that are too acidic (such as orange and grapefruit) or diuretics that may further dehydrate the body, such as cranberry juice.
