
13.Glycerin is another common method for removing hardened earwax.
Glycerin’s lubricating and saturating properties will help loosen affected wax. Instill three or four droplets of glycerin into your ear by tilting your head upwards and using a dropper. If you are unable to place the drops in your ear, you should request assistance.
Place a cotton ball in your ear canal and leave it there for several hours. If you are standing, it will be uncomfortable to remain in this position. Laying on the bed is the optimal activity. After removing the cotton ball, steadily pour warm water into the ear canal.
Turn your ear the other direction to completely drain the water. Using a towel or a handheld hairdryer, carefully cleanse the external ear. Avoid burning your ear by not placing the hairdryer directly against it.
