9.Ice Cubes
If your earache is caused by inflammation, ice may help mitigate some of your discomfort. If your ear is extremely painful, you may want to try holding a cold washcloth or ice compress against it for approximately 20 minutes. This can be repeated multiple times per day. Ice or a cold washcloth may temporarily dull the earache, providing temporary relief.
This may be temporary, but it is still beneficial. If the auditory canal is inflamed, holding ice to numb the area can be extremely beneficial. However, it is essential to note that if you experience ear pain for more than a few days, it is recommended that you visit a doctor to determine the underlying cause.
