5.Hydrogen Peroxide Fifth
Hydrogen peroxide ear injections are an alternative method for removing fluid from the ear. As a disinfectant, hydrogen peroxide can help eliminate any bacteria that may have accumulated in your ear canal. The hydrogen peroxide can assist in the removal of bacteria, earwax, debris, and any confined water or other fluids from the ear canal.
Find a sterile dropper and apply three or four droplets of hydrogen peroxide to the ear canal using this method. After placing the drops in the ear, you should wait approximately two to three minutes.
After approximately three minutes, you should tilt your head downward to allow the fluid to discharge from your ear. If you have a perforated eardrum, an outer ear infection, or tubing in your ear, you should not use this method.
