6. Herbal baths
If we stick with the topic of what can be added to your bath to relieve the symptoms of a bacterial infection, for as long as they last, there are also many herbs and essential oil that can have a positive impact for specific symptoms (and can treat the condition completely when combined with other methods, like adding apple cider or vinegar too).
If you are experiencing symptoms like itching or discomfort, you may want to consider adding chamomile to your bath. While it won’t cure BV on its own, it will relieve the itching. A herbal bath shouldn’t be too hot. This is especially true if you have skin sensitivity issues or a heart condition.
