7.When to End Your Fast
If you are experiencing adverse health effects as a result of your fasting, you should never persist. You should cease fasting if you experience high or low blood pressure during a fast, or if you feel faint too often – some people may even experience fainting if they have been fasting for too long or if the fast is too much for their bodies to handle.
Stop fasting if you experience adverse effects or if you are already ill (for example, with the flu) before beginning your fast. There is no reason to “push through” your fast if you are experiencing negative health effects, and continuing after that point will only be more detrimental to your health.
Stop your fast if you experience any adverse effects and make an appointment with your doctor to determine why fasting is having this effect on you.
