11.Get Adequate Rest
If you suffer from chronic tension migraines, insufficient sleep may be the culprit. When your mind and body are deprived of slumber, they cannot function properly. Your muscles may tighten, resulting in tension throughout the body. Inability to relax and slumber can also result in severe headaches.
The pain of a tension headache may be alleviated by napping, but if you aren’t receiving enough sleep at night, you may still experience headaches during the day. If you have difficulty falling asleep at night, try going to bed earlier and turning off the television, radio, and putting away your phone to prevent yourself from staying awake. When you eliminate distractions from your bedtime routine, you are more likely to effortlessly fall asleep and avoid headaches. You can also attempt to avoid headaches by napping frequently throughout the day.
