- Dementia
When you experience some of these symptoms, such as a high fever, shivers, and shortness of breath, other areas of your body may begin to slow down. When your body does not receive enough oxygen, it will gradually begin to slow down the function of all of the body’s less vital areas in order to keep you alive.
There is a possibility that you may become slightly confused or even delirious if you have a high fever. If you’re beginning to grapple with reality and what’s happening around you, you may have a serious infection or pneumonia. If you have had a fever for several days and are becoming increasingly confused, you should visit your doctor as soon as possible for treatment of your symptoms.
