11.Beneficial to the Kidneys
The kidneys are also responsible for removing toxins from the body. The majority of substances that leave your body, including contaminants in food and certain medications, are expelled via urine after passing through your kidneys.
Almost immediately after your kidneys are exposed to contaminants, your health will begin to deteriorate: You will feel exhausted and sluggish, experience pain in your lower back (which is actually your kidneys), and in extreme cases, your skin and eyeballs will yellow. This is an indication of severe kidney dysfunction, and you should not fast at all: Obtain medical advice if this is the case.
A fast can do miracles for a person with healthy, somewhat overworked kidneys, and when combined with fluid intake, your body will feel much better after a brief fast.
