These include being an excellent source of protein, a good source of healthful saturated fats that aid in absorption and cholesterol absorption, and having a high concentration of creatine, PQQ, and coenzyme Q10, among others. Organ products are even better!
When it comes to ulcerative colitis, this is generally not a smart idea. Simply put, crimson meats are extremely difficult to digest. They are stringy and difficult to mastic, let alone digest in the digestive tract. In addition, the high fat content is very slowly assimilated, increasing the likelihood of experiencing bowel and digestion issues even in the absence of a preexisting condition.
