4.Boiled Rice
You may be accustomed to hearing that brown rice is superior to white rice for the majority of individuals. However, this is not the case with ulcerative colitis!
This is due to the fact that brown rice contains whole grains consisting of fibrous endosperm, embryo, and bran. This fiber can agitate the UC, which can lead to a flare-up. Unfortunately, a variety of ‘trendy’ health foods, such as quinoa, oats, and wild rice, are among the other whole-grain foods that cause the same issue.
Additionally, if you have ulcerative colitis, you should avoid the following:
Simple barley
Spelt Wheat-berries Bulgar wheat Millet
